Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about the program. Can't find your question? Email us.

Do I need to know how to code?

No. This program is specifically designed for non-technical professionals. You'll use AI-assisted coding tools (like Claude) that let you describe what you want in plain English and get working code in return.

That said, you should be comfortable learning new tools and willing to put in the work. We're not going to write the code for you—we're going to teach you how to work with AI to write it yourself.

What will I ship?

You'll ship a deployed MVP—a working web application that real users can access on the internet. This includes:

  • A frontend deployed on Cloudflare
  • A database storing real data (Neon Postgres)
  • User authentication (sign up / log in)
  • At least one core workflow working end-to-end

By the end, you'll have a working product and a repeatable workflow to keep shipping.

What if my idea is too big?

That's common—and we'll help you scope it down. In the Intro Session, we run a PRD (Product Requirements Document) workshop where we define exactly what you're building. The goal is to identify the smallest useful version of your idea that you can ship in 4 weeks.

We've found that most "big" ideas have a simple core that can be built quickly. We help you find that core.

What tools do we use?

We use a simple, modern stack:

  • Frontend: Deployed on Cloudflare Pages
  • Database: Neon (managed Postgres)
  • Version control: GitHub
  • AI coding assistant: Claude

You don't need to know any of these tools ahead of time. We set everything up together in the Intro Session.

What if I get stuck?

You have multiple support channels:

  • Live sessions: ~90 minutes weekly with the cohort
  • Office hours: 1–2 sessions per week for 1:1 help
  • Async support: Ask questions anytime and get help as available

Getting stuck is normal. The whole point of the cohort is to have support when you hit roadblocks.

Do I need to pay for Claude?

Not during the program. We provide access to a Claude Code Max account so nobody gets blocked by billing. At the end of the program (or earlier if you prefer), we help you transition to your own Claude account.

Can I do this with a full-time job?

Yes, but it requires commitment. Expect about 6 hours per week:

  • ~90 minutes for the weekly live session
  • 1–2 hours for office hours (optional but recommended)
  • 2–4 hours for hands-on work / homework

Most participants have full-time jobs. The key is blocking time in your calendar and treating this like a real commitment.

What if I don't have an idea?

That's okay—but this probably isn't the right program for you yet. We're designed for people who have a specific problem they want to solve and need help building the solution.

If you're exploring and don't have something concrete in mind, we'd suggest waiting until you do. We can also help you brainstorm during a quick call—reach out and we'll chat.

How much does it cost?

Pricing varies by cohort and availability. Join the waitlist and we'll share pricing details when enrollment opens for your preferred cohort.

How do signups work?

Discovery Sessions: Free events you can RSVP to via Luma. You'll get a calendar invite and automatic reminders.

Cohort Enrollment: Join the email waitlist (via Buttondown). We'll notify you when enrollment opens for your preferred cohort.

What happens after the program?

You leave with a deployed MVP and the skills to keep iterating. We help you transition to your own tools (Claude account, etc.) so you're fully independent. Many alumni continue building and shipping on their own after the program.

Still have questions?

We're happy to help. Reach out and we'll get back to you within a day.
