From Idea to Deployed MVP

Four weeks plus an intro session. You build one real project end-to-end—and leave with a deployed MVP and the skills to keep shipping.

Program Overview

This is a hands-on cohort for non-technical professionals who want to build and ship real software. You'll use AI-assisted coding tools (like Claude) and modern deployment workflows to go from idea to working MVP in four weeks.

Each week includes a ~90-minute live session plus 1–2 office hours. Expect 2–4 hours of hands-on work between sessions. Async support is available throughout.

4 weeks

Plus intro session

~6 hrs/week

Live + homework

1 project

Deployed to production

Week by Week

Each week builds on the last. By the end, you have a deployed MVP and a repeatable workflow.

Intro Session

Environment Setup + PRD Workshop

You arrive with

An idea for what you want to build (even if it's rough)

In-session work

  • ·Set up your development environment
  • ·Install and configure AI coding tools
  • ·PRD workshop: define your project scope
  • ·Identify your core user workflow

Homework

Finalize your PRD and data model sketch. Come to Week 1 ready to build.

Milestone

Clear project spec and working dev environment

Week 1

Data Model + Scaffold + Deploy

You arrive with

A clear project spec and working dev environment

In-session work

  • ·Finalize your data model with guidance
  • ·Create your GitHub repo
  • ·Scaffold your application structure
  • ·Set up your deployment pipeline (Cloudflare)

Homework

Get your scaffold deployed. Add placeholder pages for your core flows.

Milestone

Your project is live on the internet (even if it's just a shell)

Week 2

First Complete Workflow

You arrive with

A deployed scaffold with placeholder pages

In-session work

  • ·Build your core CRUD workflow
  • ·Connect to your database (Neon Postgres)
  • ·Make it work end-to-end in production
  • ·Handle basic error states

Homework

Extend your workflow. Add real data. Test with a friend or colleague.

Milestone

Real users can use your core feature in production

Week 3

Auth + Your 'Wow' Feature

You arrive with

A working core workflow in production

In-session work

  • ·Add user authentication
  • ·Implement your 'wow' feature (the thing that makes your tool special)
  • ·Production hardening and edge cases
  • ·Basic monitoring and error tracking

Homework

Polish your auth flow. Extend your wow feature. Get more test users.

Milestone

A secured, feature-complete MVP

Week 4

Ship It

You arrive with

A feature-complete MVP that needs polish

In-session work

  • ·Final polish and UX improvements
  • ·Demo day prep
  • ·Next steps planning
  • ·Transition to your own Claude account (optional)

Homework

Present at demo day. Share your MVP with the world.

Milestone

A deployed MVP and a repeatable workflow to keep shipping

What You'll Ship

By the end of the program, you'll have:

  • A deployed MVP on the internet that real users can access
  • Working authentication so users can sign up and log in
  • A database storing real data (Neon Postgres)
  • Version control via GitHub so you can keep iterating
  • A repeatable workflow using AI-assisted coding tools

The Stack

We use a simple, modern stack that's easy to maintain and cheap to run:

  • ·Frontend: Deployed on Cloudflare Pages
  • ·Database: Neon (managed Postgres)
  • ·Version Control: GitHub
  • ·AI Coding: Claude (account provided during program)

You don't need to know these tools ahead of time. We'll set everything up together.

Who This Is For

  • Non-technical or lightly-technical professionals with a real problem to solve
  • Solo founders, operators, PMs, consultants, or subject-matter experts
  • People who want to ship a working tool—not just learn theory
  • People who can commit ~6 hours/week for 4 weeks
  • People who want fluency with modern tools without getting lost in syntax

Who This Is NOT For

  • People looking for a general "intro to coding" course
  • People who want to learn AI/ML engineering (embeddings, RAG, fine-tuning)
  • People who are just curious but don't have a project in mind
  • People who want to build something very complex (mobile apps, games, etc.)
  • Experienced developers who already know how to ship web apps

About Tools

During the program, you may be provided access to a Claude Code Max account so nobody gets blocked by billing. At the end (or earlier if you prefer), we help you transition to your own Claude account.
